Flowers, and more particularly roses and their essential oil, represent in effect Bulgarian know-how. It is also flourishing, because its cosmetics products sales are increasing 25% per year. Food & Beauty, the new cosmetics dimension
Food & Beauty, the space/event marking the encounter between the food and cosmetics industries will be at Beyond Beauty Paris and at SIAL. Using food as source of wellness and beauty is an ancestral concept that is today coming fully into its own. Both the food and beauty industries have completely understood this and have already invested in the “food-cosmetics” world, thus meeting new consumer codes.

SIAL and Beyond Beauty Paris, major professional and international events of the food and beauty industries, are for the first time giving high-profile exposure to this trend. The essentials of natural beauty
Natural Beauty Summit America
The first edition of the Natural Beauty Summit America was held on 15, 16 and 17 May at the Hilton Hotel in New York. The theme of the summit was “Natural cosmetics: the bases of sustainable development.” Nearly 250 beauty professionals in America participated in two-and-a-half days of talks and workshops hosted by the sector’s most prestigious players.

On 8 and 9 October 2008, a new European edition of the Natural Beauty Summit will be held in Paris. Organized by Beyond Beauty Paris in partnership with Organic Monitor, it will this time be the occasion to bring together the best marketing and distribution experts on issues of eco-packaging and European standards.
